The last few days remain until the day when we officially open the season 2019 at Sonberk. It will happen on Saturday and Sunday 30th and 31st of March, and because of all the joy of winning in the middle category Winery of the Year, we wanted this year have the opening season really special. So we set up an exceptional program.
On Saturday, March 30, our cellar master Olda will take the keys to the archive and pull out eleven bottles that can no longer be bought. And he will be tasting individual samples from 17:00 onwards, so few people will be able to evaluate with Olda what the Sonberian wines are after several years of ripening.
We are launching tickets for tasting of archival samples right now, you can reserve your seats by e-mail sonberk@sonberk.cz or by phone 777 630 434. We count with 15 seats and the price for tasting will be 490 crowns. We will only ask to pay in advance so that someone does not say anything about the place, but then it may be left empty, and no one else could get to it.
What exactly will we drink? We will gradually declassify it on our Facebook profile. But we can promise to fly through the years 2003 to 2014, classic quiet wines, some naturally sweet and one red.
Our Facebook pays off even if you are not planning a tasting. Because of the opening of the season, we will be selling a few bottles from each of the selected years.
But we will open even more. The opening of the season traditionally includes the introduction of new wines, so we will show a series of Big Sonberk in 2017 as well as the new Sauvignon 2018. And to make matters worse, wizards with coffee and donuts will also come to the weekend - Brno's Coffee and Donut. We will enjoy the whole Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
