The only red wine from Sonberk, from the grapes of the best-located vineyard. It matured for 12 months in half of the new French medium-toasted oak barrels. The result of consistent care is a rich, crimson red color with a purple edge and high viscosity. Sonberk's Merlot has an intense and youthful aroma with tones of ripe blackberries, cherry syrup, and jam with a touch of burnt wood and laurel. The taste offers dark berries, wild spices, or plum jam. It has a long warm finish and we recommend decanting it.
