The guide about best Czech wines is published. It praises our straw wine and Riesling Noble rot

It seems this year, judges of all possible competitions enjoy the same wines. And fortunately for us, they are ours. Riesling Noble Rot shone at the Decanter world competition, and in the domestic Wine Salon, and the Pálava straw wine, for example, at the Oenoforum and the Prague Wine Trophy. After that, a group of other Czech experts also picked up both of these wines. The evaluators of the latest guide named Best Wines of the Czech Republic for 2020 and 2021 also marked them as the best wine of the Riesling variety and the best sweet wine.

Riesling Noble rot received from the group of influential Czech sommelier 95 and Pálava straw wine even 98 points, which is the highest rating this year. It was awarded by sommelier Michal Šetka, Ivo Dvořák, Jakub Přibyl, Roman Novotný, and Richard Süss.

The printed guide should not have the character of competition in the first place. On the part of the mentioned men, it is mainly a recommendation of a group of wines and wineries, with which you will not get burned on your way around the Czechia. This year there are 875 wines and a total of 156 winemakers. The guide thus ranks among the most comprehensive domestic evaluations.
