Anyone who has followed Sonberk for a long time knows a lot about us and our wines. For example, we like to appear in the movie industry. We work with the famous Czech director Ondřej Trojan and his wife for years, so we have the honour of being part of the important film events. Like now. Ondřej Trojan has completed his latest movie named Bourák. Its premiere will be celebrated in Prague today with the help of Sonberk wines.
The Trojans regularly have their evenings in the program of our summer festival and organize their film festival. But this year everything has changed. Due to coronavirus-related measures, the film festival was postponed until next year, and the same threatened to premiere of the movie Bourák. But Ondřej Trojan decided not to allow it.
"It's a genre of relaxing summer film that wouldn't impress in the fall," he said in an interview, explaining why it's good to see the film right now. Bourák is a black musical comedy which takes place in the imaginary town of Šlukdorf in northern Bohemia after the Velvet Revolution. So it should be a reminder of a period of a few years back, but also a relaxing film for a summer evening.
