The performance, where the verb “enjoy” has a profound meaning, is presented in the Reduta theater by the National Theater Brno and Sonberk has the honor of being a part of it. The theater play entitled Duchess and Cook, written on the motifs of Ladislav Fuks' novel is complemented by a four-course tasting dinner made by the Koishi restaurant. Sonberk´s wine flows right next to the soup. Currently, the last place remains for 27th of January, further repeats in February, March and April are sold out.
The play has been introduced in Reduta for several seasons, and Sonberk´s wines have been there since the beginning. “Koishi was right at the start of the project, so they chose our wines. Of course, we were happy to agree, because combining wine with other strong and cultural experiences is exactly what we want to do,” assures our sales and marketing director Dáša Fialová.
Visitors to the show have been enjoying the same wine for the fourth season - blend Chardonnay & Pinot Gris. “Pairing wine to soup is difficult, not enough candidates. Our blend is specific due to its structure and robustness, it is one of the few that fits,” Dáša adds.
The creators of the performance speak of it as an exclusive experience, where besides great food and wine, the performance of the actor Vladimír Javorský, elegant service, and unique musical accompaniment are served.
