The last holiday weekend is usually not one of the dates you are looking forward to most, so this year we did a lot in Sonberk to make sure you really look forward to it.
On Friday, August 30, Czech rock legend with a voice that cannot be mistaken, Kamil Střihavka, will play in the winery as a part of the Sonberk Cultural Summer. He will be accompanied by The Leaders Acoustic Band on stage next to the vineyard. If you do not have them yet, you can buy tickets through smsticket.cz, or directly at the venue for 350 crowns.
We cannot imagine bigger events at Sonberk without good food. This time, in addition to Brno's Kafe a kobliha, we gonna have Anne's foodtruck for the first time. They will offer Canadian specialty poutine, homemade fries with various side dishes or the Mexican quesadillas.
On Saturday we will be open as usual from 10 am to 6 pm, so you can take break here during your trip and take glass of wine or something small to eat.
On Sunday we also open at 10, but with food it´s gonna be huge. We are preparing our second brunch and the food will be the responsibility of the people from the famous foodtruck Būcheck. You can taste their pulled pork and drink coffee and limonades and eat donuts from Kafe a kobliha. As for the first time, we perceive brunch as a picnic right next to the vineyard, so do not be afraid to bring blankets and children or dogs.
