Seeing the weather, it's almost clear, so we can say, spring is coming, so we are opening Sonberk! In the winter months, we have closed the winery during weekends, but from March 23, we will have the door open again for all tourists right in the winery.
For the sake of clarity, on Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd and 24th, this year's pre-premiere, we decided to join the almond tree festival that took place on the same day in Hustopeče. For all those who will be around, we will have, besides standard sonberk wines, a great deal of goodies to celebrate. You will be able to taste almonds, the more famous bread from Chleb Brno and the paté from our friends from Barrio Gotico from Kurdějov.
The official start of the spring season is scheduled for the last weekend in March, which we decided to do extraordinary. That's why we'll open the cellars and safes a bit, and we're going to taste the wine from our archive. Our winemaker Old Drápal himself will choose a few bottles, which should now be in the best condition thanks to the several-year stay.
