A wine will become more valuable the more time you give it to age. Grapes were from the best location in the vineyard. Aged for two years in French barrique oaks from François Frères of the highest quality with the RARE label. Specifically, 20/11/2018 - 3/12/2020
Dense garnet color with ruby reflections. The aroma is complex and structured, full of forest berry fruit, blackberry compote, and exotic spices. Aging in an oak barrel enriches the aroma with noble notes of wood, chocolate, and cocoa beans. The taste is robust, strong, and warm. Forest fruit, dark chocolate softened with a touch of cream, an elegant touch of eucalyptus, and an endlessly long finish full of fruit and ripe tannin. Decant the wine and enjoy one of the best Merlots in the history of Sonberk.
